Lars Sö was born in Denmark. He attended the famous Kosta Glass School in Sweden after having completed technical studies
at glass studios in Denmark and Sweden. He has had gallery exhibitions in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Upon paying a visit to Erikshyttan, you will be greeted with the warmth and friendliness for which most Danes are noted.
Lars creates his works of art most every day in the ovens next to his shop. The only time he takes a break is in the
winter after tourist season has come to a close in the Crystal Kingdom of Småland. Then it is off to a warm paradise to
rest up and rejuvenate.
While Lars may have a laid back, devil-may-care attitude toward life, he takes his work very seriously. Because his
works are freeblown, it is more difficult to get that perfect shape every time. Still he manages to succeed quite well as is
evidenced by his beautiful pieces in his shop. He also has quite a feel for color. Much of his work is in bold, transparent
colors or color blends. One is reminded of sunsets and sunrises with the vast array. You can see an example of his
feel for color and form in the Bowls and Vases section -- "Mosaic" is one of his latest works.
"My encounter with artistic glass has developed into a lifelong process. From a fascination with creating geometrical
forms, I'm now on my way into the fascinating world of sculptural glass."

Maja Cunningham was born in Denmark and attended the School of Fine Arts and the School of Ceramic Technique there.
She has also attended the famous glass schools at both Orrefors and Kosta Boda in Sweden. She has had gallery
exhibitions in Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands.
"In working with the glass, I use sandblasting, engraving and etching techniques to project pictures of the mind
onto the different color layers of the bowl, dish or sculpture. Working with fairly vivid colors, I prefer a rather
serene, classical form as a base for forms captured in movement."
